Manford Lange Driver of the Year 2008:
Manford Lange is our driver of the year 2008. He has been with Wilson Lines since November 1996 as an owner operator. He is a truck driver who knows the road, the equipment and the business.
People at Wilson Lines say he is cheerful, fun and easy to work with. He takes great pride in his job and says, “Why not enjoy what you are doing?” One of the dispatchers remarked about Manford: You can always count on ‘wonder dog.’
Ken Cran 2008 Driver of the 3rd Quarter
Ken Cran is Wilson Lines’ Driver of the 4th Quarter 2008. He joined Wilson Lines in September 2007, but has been driving a truck for most of his career.
There are many reasons why Ken was voted Driver of the Quarter. His dispatchers say that he is always on time, does a great job and does not complain. The mechanics say that he is easy to get along with, and is able to explain what is going on with his equipment whenever there is a problem.
Bill Bidler 2008 Driver of the 2nd Quarter
Bill Bidler is our driver of the 2nd Quarter 2008. Bill always does a good job. He is a hard worker and will go anywhere we need him to go. He always gives us plenty of notice of time off.
Bill has been with Wilson Lines for 8 years. He has been a dependable and cooperative employee. He has a good safety record. His paperwork is always neat and complete. He uses his computer to prepare his logs so he never has any violations.
Larry Basham-Bower 2008 Driver of the 1st Quarter
Larry Basham-Bower was named Wilson Lines’ Driver of the 1st Quarter 2008. Larry has been driving professionally for 15 years and he’s been with Wilson Lines for 5 years as an owner operator. He has a safe driving record.
Larry is reliable and easy to work with. He does loads not preferred by other drivers. He has a very pleasant personality. He’s funny and always nice to talk to. He turns in his paperwork in a timely manner and has no compliance violations.
